auc layer

Hello! I just became aware of your package - looks useful! I was just wondering if plan on a visual interpretation of the auc (shading the auc - geom_auc/stat_auc). Maybe using stat_roc() with GeomArea would be currently - if I've missed a function or guidance please let me know. Thanks!

Hey and thanks for the issue. I had not thought about it before, but turns out to be pretty simple, as you suggested by using geom = "area" inside stat_roc. Here is an example:

D.ex <- rbinom(50, 1, .5)
rocdata <- data.frame(D = c(D.ex, D.ex), 
                      M = c(rnorm(50, mean = D.ex, sd = .4), rnorm(50, mean = D.ex, sd = 1)), 
                      Z = c(rep("A", 50), rep("B", 50)))

ggplot(rocdata, aes(m = M, d = D, color = Z, fill = Z)) + geom_roc() + 
  stat_roc(geom = "area", alpha = .3)

Very cool! And it feels so literal - AUC, roc + area! 🙂 I'm a fan of lots of user facing functions, (like geom_roc) but stat_roc(geom = "area") is is pretty rad. 😎
