Thanks! icm uninstall (shipped in v0.10.50, PR #243) already does this — it removes the ICM hook entries from Claude Code's settings.json, the Codex hooks.json, Gemini's settings, Cursor's hooks, plus the related MCP registrations, with timestamped backups under ~/.icm-uninstall-backups/ so the operation is reversible.

A few flags that may match your usecase:

• icm uninstall --dry-run — preview what would be removed
• icm uninstall --audit — list every detected ICM config without touching anything
• icm uninstall --check — exit-code only (0 = clean, 1 = residue)
• icm uninstall — apply with backups

If your usecase is specifically "remove ICM hooks but keep the MCP server / CLI binary / DB" (e.g., upgrading the binary and wanting to re-init only the hooks), let me know — that would be a follow-up --hooks-only mode. Otherwise icm uninstall should cover the cleanup you described.
