The sponsor banners being displayed on the board is a nice feature, yet the reality of banners is that they may be:
not in the right aspect ratio (leading to stretching) (Fixed)- not a high enough resolution to account for aliasing issues (could look not uniform with other sponsors)
- Sponsors may not have prepared media for use, but still want to be showcased
Describe the solution you'd like
Having a text input for sponsors would help with allowing quick input for a sponsors name or company name. The Text could then be used and scaled easily based on the size and aspect ratio of the boards in use. This would also likely be a lower performance hit on lower end hardware for rendering a carousel of all the sponsor images.
Describe alternatives you've considered
- Alternative solutions could be generating banners in a photoshop type software, by using the text tool. This would be much more time intensive with a less adaptable outcome.
