No, not really. It's more of a lack of functionality that seems... "obvious", I'd say.
There are no way to have "stateful labels", i.e. add current volume level to the mute button, for example, or to the volume slider.
Having this ability would enrich the application greatly in my opinion.
I propose the following "smart labels": volume level of active sound device, "artist" of the current media played, "track" of the current media played.

It would be lovely to be able to put thing like {volumeLevel} to "Label" fields, and have a list of such "macro labels" somewhere.

None, really, except for a failed attempt at plugin, but since I'm not that familiar with node, I gave up.
Additional context
This may seem minor, but that's the only thing that stops me from switching "full time" to the Deckboard.
Otherwise than that - Deckboard is an amazing, swift and reliable piece of software, thank you for creating such a great tool.
