Share-links plugin question

[tatobarresi]

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask a question about the File-share plug-in. How can I prevent the link from expiring and make it permanent? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help!

[rejetto]

you mean the "share-links" plugin?

[tatobarresi]

yes, sorry :)

[rejetto]

just set 9999 days, and it's 27 years.
i guess you don't need more than that.

You could change the plugin and make 0 infinity, Rejetto. So it never expires.

sorry, I definitely didn't get enough blood flowing to my brain :\ .... another question... would it be possible to insert a qr generator for the link created by share-link????

[rejetto]

i will probably add qr codes

[tatobarresi]

thank you!!!

I'm having a problem: when I create the share link and try to visit the link, it offers to log in. Am I doing something wrong with the folder permissions (download, delete, see, list)?

[rejetto]

is it a link to a folder or a file?

[tatobarresi]

hi massimo, it's a folder.

[tatobarresi]

I just tested it on a file and it works. It seems to only work on folders, but maybe there's something wrong with my permissions.

[rejetto]

show me how you configure the share-link for the folder

[tatobarresi]

I just click create share-link.
did you want to see this?

[rejetto]

sorry for the late reply.
yes, that looks ok, and the share-link is supposed to give access WITHOUT a login.
if you still have the problem, then it's possibly a bug, and i need to reproduce it to work on it. I can try but I need your configuration.
If you agree, send it to me a@rejetto.com . You can get it in admin-panel > options > config > export
