I encountered the same thing with 0.6.5 using Sway on Manjaro.
When launching the appimage from a terminal, it threw the error message "Could not create default EGL display: EGL_BAD_PARAMETER. Aborting...".
Turns out LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libwayland-client.so Redimo_0.6.5_amd64.AppImage did the trick.
