Extract table for data

Hi, I have a task to extract tables from PDFs, with and without certain delineations between columns and rows (but it's visually clear that it's a table), and I'm wondering if I can achieve this result using pymupdf. Can I extract a data frame from a PDF using pymupdf, similar to how it's done with pandas?

pymupdf4llm has the same license as pymupdf.
Only Pro is commercial-only and adds Office documents to the supported types.

Detected tables (page.find_tables()) have the to_pandas() method which delivers a pandas DataFrame for the table.
