Missing Airports From Vacentral Api

I found 18 airports that I have scheduled flight information for that are not visible in VACentral API

Are they in the ourairports repo?

This problem is again similar to the ICAO Mismatch problem
for example I could not get data for HCAD from Vacentral
Airport HCAD as per wikipedia
Adado Airport (IATA: AAD, ICAO: HCAD), also known as Cadaado Airport (Somali: Gegada Diyaaradaha Cadaado), is an airport serving the town of Adado in Adado District, Somalia. Adado Airport is the largest functional airport in Galmudug State of Somalia.
so when I looked up on our airports csv
I found the record but missing ICAO CODE

I think a number of these - missing airports are going to be like this.
Others may be due to the data I am using in that in recent few months or years the ICAO has changed where I can change my data to use the correct and new ICAO codes.

From what I could find looking at latest Our Airports Airports CSv file In the case of ICAO mismatch the problem is easy to understand but some updates will need to be posted to OUR AIRPORTS to help them get more reliable and better data Vacentral icao mismatch [BGAK][GL-QCU] I think I found the error with the ICAO mis-matching on our airports airport file there are several airport codes "id","ident","type","name","latitude_deg","longitude_deg","elevation_ft","continent","iso_country","iso_region","municipality","scheduled_service","icao_code","iata_code","gps_code","local_code","home_link","wikipedia_link","keywords" 35284,"GL-QCU","heliport","Akunnaaq Heliport",68.744273,-52.340369,59,"NA","GL","GL-QK","Akunnaaq","yes",,"QCU","BGAK",,,"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akunnaaq_Heliport","Akúnâk <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akunnaaq_Heliport%22,%22Ak%C3%BAn%C3%A2k>" I think you have used the field "ident' as it clearly shows as "GL-QCU" and not the field "icao_code". However in this case our airports is missing data as the field is blank. whereas for EGKK 2429,"EGKK","large_airport","London Gatwick Airport",51.148771,-0.192089,202,"EU","GB","GB-ENG","London","yes","EGKK","LGW","EGKK",,"http://www.gatwickairport.com/","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gatwick_Airport","LON <http://www.gatwickairport.com/%22,%22https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gatwick_Airport%22,%22LON>, Crawley, Charlwood" The field "icao_code" correctly has the value of 'EGKK’. Again updates to our airports data should resolve many of the problems and thus those within VAcentral PLEASE NOTE I AM A MEMBER OF. OUR AIRPORTS AND WILL UPDATE THE RECORDS FOR THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE THUS EACH TIME YOU USE THE FILE TO UPDATE VACENTRAL THE DATA SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER The use of “icao_code” should be better than “ident”. But it will take a little time for me to help update the records so then you can use the “icao_code” which is then correct usage

Thanks! Yes, I was going to ask if you can submit the corrections to ourairports, and I ingest those updates nightly. That way it helps everyone out. I was thinking of having a list we maintain, but since that data is open-sourced and we're using it, it makes sense to "give back" and help maintain the list
