Add the possibility to declare the minimum required version per plugin

I recently had difficulty to find that a plugin was too old to run some commands in a configuration script. The error was not very clear. Could it make sense to add a "version" section to declare the minimum required version of a given plugin ?

What do you mean exactly, you want plugin to better validate the yaml and let you know it doesn't support a given keyword you used?

I cannot remember the exact situation. As far as I remember the error was not clear because a keyword (maybe size_of in hdf5 ?) was not interpreted by the plugin which was too old for the given configuration script.

I see. So The issue is one of requiring a minimum version from the YAML, but also one of error not being expressive enough when invalid keywords are found in said YAML. Do I understand correctly?
