SortDrop is free, as-is, and a hobby project. No warranty, no commercial support.
You're responsible for:
- Rules you create and the folders you pick as destinations
- Checking Preview mode before you let rules run for real
- Backing up important files before you turn on automatic watching
- Any data loss, misplaced files, overwrites, or other damage from using SortDrop
SortDrop moves files based on your rules. Bad rules, expired folder permissions, or weird file names can send files to the wrong place or fail to move. Always review your rules and try Preview first.
The authors and contributors of SortDrop are not liable for lost data, corruption, downtime, or anything else that happens when you use this software. That goes for bugs, misconfiguration, macOS permission changes, or anything else.
Use at your own risk.
Something broke? Open an issue on GitHub with steps to reproduce and any Activity Log messages. We'll try to help, but we can't promise we'll recover moved or lost files.
