There was discussion on providing additional repositories for ALCOM to simplify "normal" users to easily have access to the major packages widely used by the community. As based on the reference posts this idea isn't new and haven't been discussed for a while.
So i wanted to open a new discussion, maybe more to discuss how such implementation could happend and how proposals could be pushed for as this is the stale of the official vpm repos that opened the topic in the first place.
