How to fully uninstall Wasabi?

Hi. I have a problem. Wasabi has crashed on me. It's a url port issue, because the crash report window popped up. I'm trying to uninstall it and do a completely fresh install, but there's a preference or config file somewhere that is preventing the new install from running.

Can anyone tell where I might find that so that I can fully uninstall?

Hey there! To fully uninstall Wasabi Wallet, you'll want to delete both the application and its data directory where the configuration and logs are stored.

Depending on your OS, the data directory is typically found at:

• Windows: %APPDATA%\WalletWasabi
• Linux: ~/.walletwasabi/client
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/WalletWasabi/Client

Just a heads-up: if you have any wallets you haven't backed up, make sure to save your recovery words before deleting the data folder! Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have a Mac. Unfortunately that directory doesn't exist but it still won't install. Here's a screenshot of the popup I get after reinstalling.

There is a hidden folder at the root level.

.walletwasabi

I'm assuming this might be where the issue lies? It is full of config files, tor logs, and various folders etc.

That folder was the culprit. I renamed it, reinstalled Wasabi, and it's all go.

It would have been much easier to remove the config.json file.

Probably. Now that I know what's what I'll do that next time if it ever happens again.
