Feature requests thread

When starting something from scratch, I like to have a bullet check-list thread of 'things that need doing first' to make it easy for people to get started. So, in that vein, what are some things that need doing?

• Choosing a good license (which probably is a separate thread :p)
• Function to download list of members of the network
