Windows 10: Always have to delete remote folder

Whenever I want to open up Adminite nowadays, I have to traverse to:

C:/Users//AppData/Roaming/ and delete the adminite folder. Is there a permanent fix that I can perform on my end to stop having to do this to use this tool?

Hey @dauus, that sounds super frustrating. I have a few potential fixes that I can try to rollout soon.

In the meantime, maybe try these steps (may/may not work):

1. Delete all your connected orgs
2. Close all query tabs
3. Close Adminite
4. Delete the C:\Users<user>\AppData\Roaming\adminite folder
5. Restart the app

I added some improvements to the monitoring in Version 0.2.6. If you wouldn't mind try to reproduce after you upgrade, let me know if/when you get the error and I'll try to diagnosis it with hopefully some better clues. Really puzzled as to what it could be.

So updated to version 0.2.6; I had no connections when I first opened. I added a connection, ran a query, and then closed adminite. I tried reopening it and the same issue occurs :(

I'm running into a similar issue. I was in the middle of working on a query when bam - got the "Something went wrong" screen. Tried clicking the "Report It" button but it doesn't attach any sort of log so I looked at the other issues and found this one. I'm using the latest Adminite alpha (0.2.6 I think). Is there any type of error log that would help narrow this down?

I had a similar problem with a coworker where it would fail to load after launching the app and had a refresh. The only solution was to delete the roaming\adminite folder but that caused him to lose all of his queries. I have a copy of his appdata folder but I didn't find anywhere in the folder where they were stored. Is there a place we can recover them? I presume they are in the localstorage db files.

Hey @burkekevinm, this is a backend issue preventing things like connections, queries to load. I noticed it yesterday and trying to resolve. I'll be pushing up a new version soon.
