Hello,
I’ve noticed that no GPT* model can be used in Eclipse with GitHub Copilot when the MCP server is active:
Sorry, an error occurred while generating a response. Details: unhandled status from server: 400 {"error":{"message":"Invalid schema for function 'mcp_abap-adt-comm_DebuggerGetVariables': In context=('properties', 'variable_ids'), array schema missing items.","code":"invalid_function_parameters"}} Request ID: 8fb75c44-1ce3-4e38-b1e4-b82a1c66458c
All other models, such as Claude Opus 4.6, work without any issues.
My first attempt was with GPT5‑mini and the MCP server enabled → error.
For the second attempt, I switched to another model → no error, everything works.
