Adding `renovate.json` with desired settings?

I have a use case where I would like to add the file renovate.json (with content, of course) to a collection of repositories.

Would have sense to improve this script or better to create an script a part with this single responsibility?

We could extend this script to accept a parameter for the settings location:

$ npx @octoherd/script-setup-renovate \
  --octoherd-token 0123456789012345678901234567890123456789 \
  script-setup-renovate/script.js \
  "octokit/*" \
  --extends "github>octokit/.github"
  --in renovate.json # or: package.json
