Body trackers not found when using slimevr compatible trackers

• Operating system: Windows 10
• Headset and controllers: PS VR2
• Trackers: VyroVR Ibis trackers (SlimeVR compatible)

Describe the bug
The body trackers are not picked up by the mod. Under the calibration section (both general and avatar-specific) I get the message that no trackers are detected, and so calibration is disabled. This happens both with a custom avatar and the template full body avatar. All tracker roles have been assigned in SteamVR.

Before I got these trackers I was using Standable, whose virtual trackers were detected without issue. By now I have completely removed these virtual trackers from steamvr just to be sure they are not interfering.

Steps to reproduce

• Start Beat Saber
• Go to the Avatar mod, pick the template full body avatar
• Under "calibration", an error is mentioned that no trackers are found.

Expected behavior
Trackers are detected and calibration is available.

I had the same problem, and I fixed it by opening BeatSaber, then going into SteamVR settings -> Controllers -> Show binding UI -> Beat Saber -> change "Current Controller" to the SlimeVR trackers, then manually adding the openXR binding to "Current binding" (it didn't set the binding by default) then restart BeatSaber

@takarako-312's solution is correct. It's more or less the VMT instructions except instead of vmt you should have something for SlimeVR trackers. I would suggest bringing this up with whoever maintains the SlimeVR SteamVR extension because this is a setup issue on their end.

I managed to dig into this more, and found that the Slime driver recently got an update that changes how trackers are registered. This method apparently still doesn't quite work well across the board, which is what happens here. Switching on the compatibility mode uses the old registration method again which makes the trackers work without issue.
