Can't enable Data Table feature

Describe the problem/error/question

I am trying to update native data tables as we're 2 versions behind. When I hit the Update button, I'm directed to log in. When I log in I am at the n8n homepage but no update occurs.

What is the error message (if any)?

No error message, just a never ending loop trying to update.
