Author: André Henrique (@mrhenrike) | União Geekhttps://github.com/Uniao-Geek

Language: English (en-US) — default. Português (pt-BR): CODE_OF_CONDUCT.pt-BR.md

Our pledge

To foster an open and respectful environment, maintainers, contributors, and users of WirelessXPL-Forge pledge to participate free of harassment, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, experience level, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Scope

This Code applies to:

  • Issues, pull requests, discussions, and reviews in this repository
  • Communication on behalf of the project (mailing lists, linked chats, events)
  • Use of examples and guidance from this project when interacting with third parties

Expected behavior

  • Inclusive, professional language
  • Critique ideas and implementations, not people
  • Accept constructive feedback in good faith
  • Focus on technical reproducibility, responsible security research, and clarity
  • Respect legal and ethical boundaries

Unacceptable behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or personal attacks
  • Doxxing, threats, or deliberate exposure of private data
  • Contributions whose primary purpose is harm outside authorized testing
  • Pressuring others into illegal or unauthorized testing
  • Persistent commercial spam or off-topic noise in project channels
  • Systematic requests outside declared repository scope (e.g., camera/printer/DVR-only modules when the project targets another focus)

Security reports vs conduct reports

Vulnerabilities in this software → follow SECURITY.md.
Conduct violationssuporte@uniaogeek.com.br or GitHub private reporting in SECURITY.md.

Maintainer responsibilities

  • Clarify acceptable standards
  • Take reasonable corrective action for misconduct
  • Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, issues, or contributions that violate this Code
  • Temporarily or permanently ban contributors for severe violations, per platform policy

Consequences

Depending on severity: private warning, content removal, thread closure, or loss of access to project channels.

Attribution

Inspired by common open-source Code of Conduct practice; adapted to WirelessXPL-Forge scope and governance.
