Giada windows version 1.1.1 crashing while loading

Giada windows version 1.1.1 is crashing while loading. "giada.exe stopped working", "because of a problem". Windows 10 user, just downloaded for the first time.

What did I do wrong?

Even when launched as an administrator.

I downloaded the windows binary today. It only has "giada.exe" in the zip file. No .dll files or anything else. When I executed the file, it opened a cmd window and then disappeared.

same experience on fresh windows 11 install (25H2 26200.8246) and version 1.4.1. running as administrator or normally.
