F-Droid repo: very slow download speeds

Hi there

I am setting up a device and the Molly-FOSS repo has very slow download speeds

• Android 15
• F-Droid basic
• openWRT router runs a tor node (non-exit)
• no VPN

Are you behind a CDN or something that might throttle the speeds based on tor-nodes? There might be a way for such actors to get a list of nodes and discriminate operators.

As it is not an exit-node, this would be far beyond anything reasonable, and can be seen as violating net neutrality.

Do you know more? I am sure that is not intentional.

The repo and APKs are hosted on GitHub Pages, so the slow download speed may be due to GitHub throttling traffic for VPN or Tor users.

I cannot find Molly on F-Droid at all, see https://search.f-droid.org/?q=Molly

If Molly is only distributed via its own F-Droid repo (which is totally fine), please fix documentation at:
