Power Apps YAML - File based system/YAML Code Editing Capabilities

Hello,
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this.
Are there any plans to move towards supporting a more file-oriented structure approach in PowerApps? I could imagine a directory of YAML files editable in a program like VS Code or even in an interface similar to the existing read-only 'View Code' option when right clicking elements in the Tree View.
It would be a wonderful addition to the PowerApps development workflow.
