Is it possible to assign a seller to Global Products

I have some products imported directly into mercur via the Admin UI.
I now wish to assign a seller to some of these existing products.
The sellers are also existing, and configured correctly.

Is it sufficient and adequate if only this table seller_seller_product_product is modified directly, creating links between seller and product (thus assigning existing products to existing sellers)?

Is there any other other steps, or other ways to accomplish this in mercur?
