Importing a Gadget-compatible timescale

Ideally Gadget wants data at 1-month intervals. However Atlantis models generally produce data per-day. Do we:-

• Configure an Atlantis run for toutinc == "30 day", ignore the fact that what Atlantis thinks is the season will slip.
• Configure an Atlantis run for toutinc == "730 hour", risk finding bugs from non-day-intervals.
• Stick with 1-day, ingest vast amounts of data?

My suggestion here is make this upload a bit dependent on the type of data you want to ingest with the focus of supplying similar data as use in a typical stock assessment setting:

• Abundance data could be ingested only for a special fleet such as a survey fleet and this survey fleet should be set up in such a way that it will only operate in a very limited time and with a limited number of hauls. In this setting you only need to have information on a particular day
• Stomach data: could limit that to surveys hence no need to extrapolate information just use value of consumption for that particular day.
• Biomass caught, these should sum up over a period, but daily catches by subdivision isn't really horrible I assume
• Biological samples from surveys: samples taken on a particular day in a particular subdivision
• Biological samples from commercial operations, take 1000 samples for each functional group evenly over the year from the fleet segments. Again pick a day and sample.
• Catch per unit effort: basically catch/number of km towed or something similar. Don't how much detail one can have in Atlantis

Taqgging, genetics and other things are further down the priority list.
