Paper results/renders?

Thank you again for this great work.
Manage to run a result but the blender plugging isn't really good unfortunately.

How did you guys render the images in the paper?

Hi, not the author but I think you could

1. Import the .ply file into blender using the addon. Uncheck pointcloud representation.
2. In the Shading workspace, manipulate the material properties by adding nodes based on the workflow image, which will make certain premitives emit light based on their intensity.
3. Render two images: one with the inserted object and one without. Subtract the two rendered images to isolate the shadow cast by the inserted object.
4. Finally, composite the isolated shadow and the object back into the original image.

I didn't finish the step 3 and 4 since the reconstruct geometry couldn't well express the real surface, which create problems generating smooth shadow. And the render speed in blender is not satisfying.

Cheers for the help :) Yeah I did something similar for the first plugging is a bit suboptimal for this unfortunately.
