Tekken Tag Tournament (USA - NTSC) (ver. 1.00) dont start/black screen

As the title says. The game won't launch; after launching, I get a black screen. I've tried Parallel-GS, vulcan, and software rendering. I'm using BIOS SCPH-70012_BIOS_V12 (try 90001)
I also checked on PCSX2 standalone and the game starts without any problems.

The game is in chd format.

Hmm, same behavior here. This must be a pretty recent problem, as it's one of the games I test with.

The problem is old and existed in the previous core version, before the recent major update. Oddly enough, version 2.0 and the Japanese version 3.0 work without any problems, but for some unexplained reason, version 1.0 doesn't.
