I'm reaching out to ask if there are any plans to add an option for creating repositories directly on AWS S3 compatibles storages?

Yes. Borg UI now has S3-compatible storage support through Cloud Storage/rclone.

The usual path is:

1. Add a Cloud Storage remote and choose Amazon S3 / S3-compatible.
2. Use it as a Cloud Mirror target for a normal local, SSH, or managed-agent repository.

That keeps Borg working against a normal primary repository and mirrors repository changes to the S3-compatible remote with rclone. There is also an advanced Borg 2 direct rclone mode if you specifically want Borg 2 to write to an rclone://... repository URL, but I would start with Cloud Mirror unless you already know you need direct Borg 2 rclone.
