Using current EpiModel with EpiModelHIV

Hi @smjenness -

We're hoping to bring in the current version of EpiModel (with the fuzzynodematch term) into EpiModelHIV - we haven't worked with EpiModelHIV to date aside from getting a test script of yours working, so have just forked the repo here. A couple of questions:

• What branch is most appropriate for us to be using? We had been assuming "CombPrev" but saw that "main" had been updated more recently and had functionality for more than 3 race groups (though seems to have other modifications that might not be consistent with modeling among MSM?)
• Based on that, are you able to suggest the places that need to be updated to bring in the most current EpiModel version? (Or suggest where we should be looking for a different repo to fork/etc?)

Let me know if I can clarify any of that (and apologies for the likely stupid questions).

Since you haven't made any substantive changes to EpiModelHIV, I am going to suggest that you handle the development on EpiModelHIV-p, which is private/development version of EpiModelHIV.

I will make sure that you and Jonathan get added access there, which will allow you to create a new branch off of main to start any development of modules. That main branch depends on the current CRAN version of EpiModel, which includes fuzzynodematch and other relevant updates to the network resimulation.

In addition, you might consider creating a project repository (which contains all of your input files and run scripts, etc.) based off of our EpiModelHIV-Template:

You can simply get started by installing all the necessary packages with renv::init() and then testing out your ChiSTIG estimation scripts.
