iOS 10 exitedRegion happening #48

Hi, I know that this module seems to be not maintained at all, but I would like to report/ask an issue.
I'm using this module with Ti SDK 5.1.2.GA and XCode 7.
The apps built with it running on iOS 9 work just fine, but on iOS 10, when inside a region, the device or beacon seems to bounce out/in often. I noticed that with the "enteredRegion/exitedRegion" events and also with the "determinedRegionState".
I wasn't able to find anything on web search regarding this, does someone have an idea on why this is happening?
