singularity_index import erro

Hello, I always encounter the following error when attempting to import singularity_index. How can I resolve this? I'm looking forward to your reply.

Hi @huangjingyuan7 - I'm guessing you installed via pip? The problem is that the version on PyPi that is pip-installable is horribly old and out of date. It supports Python 2.7 and from your error message it is clear you are using the modern Python 3.10.

I would suggest cloning the repository as the source code here on GitHub has been updated to by compatible with Python 3 (it is just the version on PyPi that is not compatible).
