Describe the issue you are experiencing

When using the Energy Sankey card in a view with section layout, there is empty space in the bottom portion of the card - see screenshot attached with the empty space marked up with a “?”

[update] energy Sankey card used in a conditional card.

Image

This empty space is present in both horizontal and vertical layout options for the sankey card.

Maybe the long (jumbled) text for each of the circuits and the many circuits shown in the last section is influencing the vertical size of the card. Not sure if there is a way to simplify the display by limiting the last section to top (n=4 or 5) circuits as well as using a “remain” to capture a total the rest.

Note: this card in the energy dashboard does not show an empty space in the bottom portion of that card.

Describe the behavior you expected

Less empty space within the Energy Sankey card when used in a section layout.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. assuming the energy dashboard configuration has been set up and the energy Sankey card is visible there. (Also, maybe, 20+ circuits in the last section with long names?)
  2. Create a view with sections layout and 3 columns. In one of the columns, add the energy Sankey card in a conditional card
  3. Use horizontal or vertical layout
  4. see empty space in the bottom portion of the card
