Missing required HA version check for available update

Running HA (home assistant) version 2025.9!
The version of integration homematic(IP) local 1.88 is for HA version 2025.10!

I'm missing any kind of version check

It should stop you from downloading, did it not?

If your system is supported or not does not change the fact that a new version is available which is what this dialog signals.

Compatible update dialogs does not exist in Home Assistant, so if that is all, this is not a issue but a FR for Home Assistant.

It's not a problem if a new update is signaled.
But it must not be downloadable or installable.

Regarding "FR for Home Assistant," do you mean that a version check never took place?
I don't understand that.
I have many integration components for HA.
They all worked.
How can it happen that one is intended for a specific HA version and is offered to me as an update, which I don't have?

I've also updated to 2025.10 (without debug logs from updating on 2025.9.4 unfortunately), but was able to install a version of https://github.com/Nerwyn/material-you-theme that required >=2025.10 while still running 2025.9.4.
