This regulatory cycle reviewed 21 daily/periodic report discussions created in the last ~48 hours across the gh-aw repository (2026-08-04 through 2026-08-06). Overall data quality was good: most reports contain internally consistent, well-scoped metrics with clear methodology notes, and two reports (Auto-Triage #50869, Issue Arborist #50790, Auto-Triage #50513) explicitly flagged their own upstream tooling failures rather than fabricating numbers — a healthy self-reporting pattern.
No cross-report numeric contradictions were found for metrics with identical scope (per
scratchpad/metrics-glossary.md). The main issues are (a) genuinely different report scopes that could be mistaken for conflicts if not read carefully (e.g.,issues_analyzeddiffering intentionally between Daily Issues-style reports and Issue Arborist), and (b) two known threat-detection engine failures and one Copilot policy-related failure cluster already self-reported by the affected workflows. One prior regulatory report (#50406, 2026-08-04) was located and is being closed as outdated per the standard supersession process.Full findings, per-report notes, and recommendations are below.

This is a minor internal rounding/typo discrepancy inside the same report, not a cross-report issue — flagged below.

Critical Issues
None identified this cycle. No cross-report metric with identical scope showed a >10% unexplained discrepancy.

The 72.7% figure appears to actually belong to a different day/row in the report's own trend table (possible copy-paste or off-by-one-row error).Small sample size in Observability Coverage Report ([observability] Observability Coverage Report - 2026-08-05 #50424)

📝 Per-Report Analysis
Issue Arborist (#50790)
Source: #50790⚠️ Issues (upstream threat-engine failure banner; arborist's own linking work is valid)
Quality:
Notes: Created 21 sub-issue links, 0 new parent issues; scope is 100 open issues without parent, correctly distinct from full-repo issue counts per glossary.
Daily Firewall Report (#50745)
Source: #50745
Quality: ✅ Valid
Notes: Allowed + blocked reconciles to total (3,046 + 35 = 3,081); domain breakdown sums correctly to 8 unique domains.
Daily Agentic Workflow Audit (#50693)
Source: #50693
Quality: ✅ Valid
Notes: 94/100 success rate reconciles (94+6=100); self-identified and backfilled a 30-day repo-memory gap — commendable transparency.
