Move on from googleVis

As part of the v2 of the package (perhaps even a new package called mplot2 if there are enough breaking changes?) we should move on from the googleVis package for interactive visualisations. Options:

• ggiraph
• plotly
• D3(? probably not)

A key goal here is to make sure these interactive plots work more easily in RMD/Quarto documents and shiny apps.

I have been implementing and exploring bootstrapped lasso in python/sklearn, and recently (and with some hope since I would prefer using glmnet and R) started to implement the same routine in R.

I'm interested in using this package, but it looks like it hasn't had development for a year or so. Are you still developing on this? If I end up using it and find places that I could contribute, are you accepting pull requests?
