VS Code vizviewer does not load the trace file on subsequent invokations

I installed the viztracer VS Code extension v0.3.0, but when I try to view a trace file via the context menu, the Perfetto window is stuck not making progress reading the file as show in the screenshot.

The viewer opens the first invokation and displays the graph, but subsequent invokations fail and do not show the trace as they are stuck in the "Opening trace" state.

Is there a particular way the viewer must be terminated to avoid this failure mode?

Mmmm, trying to reproduce the subsequent opening failure, but after a full reboot, it now fails on the first try too.

Invoking vizviewer on the same file from the VS Code Terminal works consistently.

It appears to be file size/resource availability related. When I aggressively cull the trace, the GUI comes up without trouble: even multiple concurrent views:

Actually this is not specific to the VSCode plugin. Loading a large trace with vizviewer could sometimes deadlock the process. I have not figured out why that happens yet. With normal browser I usually just refresh the page a few times. It would be great if I have sometime to figure it out and fix it.
