Is spdlog Apple Silicon compatible? (Reviving #2970)

Experiencing the same as #2970, installed with homebrew (not vcpkg) on MacOS 14.2.1 on Apple M1 Max processor. Building with cmake. Errors:

InputCode.cpp is a file that does not exist in this repository.
It may be a file added by homebrew.

Please try to build without homebrew.

EDIT: OK, it looks like InputCode.cpp is the source file for your project.
The spdlog built by homebrew may have built binaries that are incompatible with your machine.
If you don't get link errors with spdlog built without using homebrew, then it is a homebrew problem.

I just built the library on a M2 macOS 13.2 system using a checkout of the v1.x branch as a submodule in my project and referencing it via CMake as well and it all worked flawlessly.
Looking at the linker errors, my guess would be that fmtis missing in the build process for whatever reason.
