I mean I’d like matcha to be configurable declaratively in NixOS/Home Manager instead of only through manual config files. This would require changes in: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs.

More specifically, I’m asking for three things:

1. A nixpkgs package for matcha
   So it can be installed like any other Nix package.

2. A Home Manager module for matcha
   Something like:

   • programs.matcha.enable
   • programs.matcha.config
   • programs.matcha.theme

   This would let users install and configure matcha through Nix Home Manager.
   Example of the kind of usage I mean:

programs.matcha = {
  enable = true;
  theme = "dark";
  config = {
    # matcha settings here
  };
};

3. Optional integration with accounts.email.accounts.<name>
   Similar to how some other mail clients are integrated in Home Manager, so a mail account could be configured and passed into matcha automatically:

accounts.email.accounts.personal = {
  address = "me@example.com";
  userName = "me@example.com";
  matcha.enable = true;
};
