Allow shape files and/or masks

Selection of an area currently allows three possibilities:

• global
• rectangular area (based on lat/lon, so not even properly rectangular)
• single point

For an area like the Netherlands, where one may want to exclude a large area such as the North Sea (and thus can't use a rectangular area), a shape file or mask as input should allow for this.
