Not sure why it doesn't work for me?

I have a raster (geotiff) layer of Lidar elevations open.

This is selected in the plugin.

I draw a line on the map, crossing several pixels of the Lidar data.

As I move along the line in the plugin, it correctly follows the line on the map canvas, but does not show a profile.

The only values it seems to show are the X offset from the start position, I can't get it to show a profile of the Lidar values.

I figure I'm not doing something right, but there is no help or info I can find & it seems pretty straightforward...

Any suggestions?

Hmmm... it seems my Lidar Geotiff is not providing the elevation value for each pixel, although it can display as a hillshade OK...
