Name Template - not working

Name Template - i only removed placeholder $brand - but now Sensors only show " - name" no appliance more

This is Home Assistant messing with entity name prefixes. I never managed to figure out the exact logic it uses but there is some mechanism that recognize that all the entities have a common prefix and sometimes decides to hide it. You should be able to see the full name if you open one of them and looks at its details. You can also try changing the template to something like "$name ($appliance)", so they don't have a common prefix and see what happens.
