Open in external browser

On Ubuntu with SublimeText 3, when I click "Open on Master", ST spawns a Firefox window inside subliem text itself. Firefox is my default browser and it is already running on its own -- is there a way to target that external firefox instance instead of opening a new one? I realize this could be a lower level issue with ST itself, but couldn't find a relevant setting.

For me this works just fine, opens externally my default browser.

Actually, that could also be an interference with another plugin.

(you probably know that but) you could test this as follows:

1. Copy your sublime configs as a backup (so you can recreate your environment), or rename the config directory to something else and let sublime start in a fresh state.
2. Then start in a fresh sublime (nothing installed), and install just GitHubinator.
   • If it still produces the error, you know it is ST3.
   • If it does (likely), then it is another plugin. Go ahead and add your previous plugins sequentially, until you find the one biting you (or just think by looking at your plugin list which of the plugins may be responsible and de-install that one for testing)
