Filter in Projects of the installer could benefit from sub-string search

If I filter for something in the Projects wizard I have to use the exact name, e.g. "egit" is not found if I search for "git".

Would be nice to allow sub-string matches, like for example in add Dependency Dialog on the MANIFEST.MF editor.

Is there a reusable/easy way to do this with a org.eclipse.ui.dialogs.FilteredTree and a org.eclipse.ui.dialogs.PatternFilter or is this a specialization that each use case needs to implement separately?

Yes, it turned out to be easy. The boolean flag basically prefixes the search string with a * (wildcard) and I couldn't think of any reason why one would pretty much not always want that. 😁
