Description
I have long thought that you can use __format=pdf with either the preview or frameset URL in the BIRT webapp (birt.war) and you'd get identical results, but I've recently discovered that the paging can sometimes be messed up when using frameset. By "messed up" I mean you can get the same page number repeated on two adjacent pages. It appears that it might be a difference of opinion on where a page break should be between the report generation engine and the PDF emitter. I've attached a stand-alone report that exhibits this behavior and a couple of PDF's to illustrate it.
Well, it won't let me attach a .rptdesign file. Let me know how I can get it to you.
Environment
- OS: Linux
- Firefox or Chrome or Adobe PDF viewer.
- BIRT Version: 4.22, birt.war in apache-tomcat-9.0.16

My client noticed this in BIRT 4.6 but I've replicated it in BIRT 4.22.
