Frequent image upload failures on mobile devices

Describe the Bug

When using IMathAS on a mobile device, image uploads frequently fail with the error message

Frequently occurs even when connected to a strong and stable WiFi network forcing me to use PC (very inconvenient during timed assessments). Potential solution could be to add retries to uploader

Steps to reproduce

1. Open IMathAS on a mobile device
2. Attempt to upload an image in an message/assement etc.
3. (Dice roll) See error message “Image upload failed due to a XHR transport error. Code: 0”

Verify latest release

• I verified that the issue exists in the latest release

Environment details
