Research contemporary Postgres full-text search / Django integration

Background

We contemplate writing a Postgres full-text search backend for django-haystack in #367, but the fact that this doesn't already exist makes me wonder how others are accomplishing this integration in the year of our lord 2025.

Proposal

Review the Django docs on full-text search and do a field scan of blogs, etc., from the past few years to learn how other Django developers are leveraging Postgres' full-text search.

Deliverables

This effort will result in a short summary of common Django/Postgres FTS patterns. It may also include transitioning an existing app to one of these patterns as a proof of concept, if one seems compelling.

Timeline

I expect this could be accomplished in a day.
