What's the story with this cable?

Found at a thrift store attached to an Apple 61W AC adapter, model A1718. Cable is worn, but I believe the text on it says "RTL10422DV3A". \

Anything else

Assuming it was bundled with the AC adapter, it's likely this cable was initially sold with the 2016 13" MacBook Pro. It seems possible that the cable continued to be bundled with later MacBooks (autogenerated title suggests M1 Air), albeit with different AC adapters.
