`containerd-shim-wasm` v1.0 release checklist

This issue is to track the work for releasing containerd-shim-wasm v1.0 and below is a list of tasks that need to be completed:

Pre-release

• Complete issue Split precompilation and runtime behavior in different traits #799
• Complete issue Consider making the Engine trait asynchronous. #923
• Release containerd-shimkit v0.1.0 to crates.io #935
• Release containerd-shim-wasm v1.0.0-rc.1
• Test the release candidate with the Spin shim to everything works as expected
• Release containerd-shim-wasm v1.0.0

Post-release

• Release shim binaries for wasmtime, wasmer, wasmedge, wamr and spin
• Update runwasi.dev website to reflect the new changes
• Author a blog post for the release and introduce the new features and improvements
• Add a landing page for runwasi.dev
• Update project's roadmap
