cannot create bucket

[felix-sift]

trying to create a new bucket produces the following error:

% aws s3 mb s3://alkwejawfe
make_bucket failed: s3://alkwejawfe An error occurred (InvalidLocationConstraint) when calling the CreateBucket operation: The specified location constraint is not valid. For more information about Regions, see How to Select a Region for Your Buckets.

jclouds.regions and jclouds.zones needs to be configured for any provider.
