Active fork of this repo/addon for Firefox?

Big thanks to @codebicycle for their original work to port the upstream igrigorik/videospeed from Chrome to Firefox.

But there's been no commits here since July 2021. By comparison, the upstream igrigorik/videospeed continues to be very active

Is anyone aware of an active Firefox port of this addon?

With the recent YouTube interface updates, the plugin stopped working properly. I reached out to the author, but I haven't received any response to the bug report yet. After some failed attempts to compensate for the issue, including trying alternative plugins, I returned to Codebycicle's old yet working extension.

I just found "Video Speed Controller (Magnus Fork)" (github) which has a release from May 2024. I'm trying it now, seems to be working well. It also adds [shift]+[mousescroll] option to change speed.

Maybe "Video Speed Controller by Igrigorik" ?? Same name but the "Add-on Links Homepage Support site" links to the Chrome version so I'm not sure if it is made by the real Igrigorik
