What does bridge do with MCP? #27

@streeyt

Description

@streeyt

I don't yet have any tasks for /bridge to work with. I issued /bridge (in Claude Code) and see the following.

Are the references to MCP just something that Claude has come up with? I didn't see any mention of a Drawbridge MCP to install?

Thanks

/bridge is running…

⏺ I'll check the MCP status and look for any Drawbridge tasks.

⏺ Search(pattern: ".moat/**/*")
  ⎿  Found 5 files (ctrl+o to expand)

⏺ Search(pattern: "moat-tasks*.{json,md}")
  ⎿  Found 2 files (ctrl+o to expand)

⏺ The .moat/ directory exists. Let me check MCP status and read the task files.

⏺ Read(.moat/moat-tasks-detail.json)
  ⎿  Read 1 line

⏺ Read(.moat/moat-tasks.md)
  ⎿  Read 13 lines

⏺ 🔌 MCP Status:
     Server Built: (not checked - MCP tools not available in current session)
     Config Exists: (not checked)
     Connected: ❌

     Mode: [File-based fallback]

  ---
  ✅ No pending tasks found!

  All tasks are complete or no annotations have been created yet.

  The .moat/ directory exists and Drawbridge is configured, but the task list is empty:
  - Total: 0 | To Do: 0 | Doing: 0 | Done: 0

  To create new tasks:
  1. Open your browser with the project running
  2. Press 'f' to enter annotation mode
  3. Click any UI element and describe the change
  4. Tasks will appear in .moat/moat-tasks.md

  Then run /bridge again to process them.
